The Hotel Trevi consists of a pair of 19th century palazzos at the intersection of two quiet, narrow streets, and is set back from the crowds going to and from Rome's famous Trevi Fountain, 100 meters away.

Rome's Ciampino Airport is 24 kilometers away, while Fiumicino Airport is 30 kilometers distant. Because virtually no pedestrians use the streets outside the hotel, guests can relax in peace on wrought iron benches flanked by potted plants. The top floor roof garden, where American buffet breakfasts are served each morning, is another quiet haven. The roof garden's floor to ceiling windows provide a partial view of Italy's presidential residence, Palazzo dei Quirinale and views of terracotta tiled roof tops.
